Help Recycling your old battery
Cat. No. Recycal

Are you exposing your company to an environmental liability?
Process: Do you have a process in place to manage recycling your spent lead-acid batteries?
Documentation: Is your recycling process and audit trail fully documented?
Recycler: Does your company use a 3rd-party recycling firm? Are they licensed?
Awareness: Is your company aware of the potential liability due to improperly recycling batteries?
Your company could be at risk if you are unsure or answer NO to any of these questions.

Why You Should Be Concerned
Federal, provincial, state, and local environmental laws regulating the storage, transportation, and recycling of spent lead-acid batteries are constantly becoming more stringent. As regulations become tougher your risk of noncompliance increases. Penalties for non-compliance could include large fines and criminal prosecution. In addition, customers are becoming more sensitive to companies regarding their responsibility to environmental compliance. Your business could be affected as customers question your stewardship to the environment as well as safety to others. Most importantly, without a compliant recycling partner, your company could potentially be damaging the environment and affecting the safety of others.

The Solution

The facilities are strategically located throughout the United States. All of the facilities operate under the RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Part B Hazardous Waste Facility Permits issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and corresponding state environmental regulatory agencies, or approved interim status awaiting final issue of such permits.
